Made it to Dodge City. Staying at the Gunsmoke RV park. Very windy and hot. it was 92 today and will be in the 90s the next three days. The RV park is packed. I guess it's a popular vacation spot. All the streets at the RV park are named after people from the original Gunsmoke series. We are parked in Newly Circle, which is between Festus Parkway and Chester Avenue.

Holiday RV Park North Platte, NE

Made it to North Platte, Nebraska and are staying at the Holiday RV Park for one night. Tomorrow it's off to Dodge City to meet Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson and Doc Holliday

Aces & Eights - Deadwood, South Dakota

Deadwood, South Dakota, Where Wild Bill Hickok was shot in the back while playing poker by Jack McCall. When Wild Bill Hickok's was shot, his poker hand was two aces and two eight, now known as a dead mans hand.

Mount Rushmore

$10 for parking at Mount Rushmore. You can't get real close due to construction going on. Gift shop and cafe are open.
